Introduction

Crafting a Seamless Digital Journey for Spa Enthusiasts

The previous website’s design was outdated and not optimized for mobile devices, which was increasingly important as more users accessed the site via smartphones. We developed a modern, mobile-first design that reflects the luxurious and trusted nature of the brand, ensuring a seamless experience whether users are browsing on a desktop or a mobile device.

The Good Spa Guide’s annual spa awards, the largest in the UK, was another crucial aspect that needed attention. The old voting system was not only difficult to navigate but for the admin team; the manual calculation of award results was a time-consuming process. We addressed these issues by implementing a secure, scalable voting system that streamlined the process. This new system prevents fraudulent votes, allows users to vote with ease, and automatically generates detailed reports, drastically reducing the administrative workload.

Thoughtful UX to make the selection process easier

Additionally, we integrated an advanced advertising and referral tracking system to automate the management of ads and user interactions. This feature not only minimises the administrative burden but also provides the Good Spa Guide team with valuable insights into user behaviour, enabling them to optimise their advertising strategies and increase revenue.

The search functionality was enhanced to offer users a more intuitive way to find the perfect spa. With sophisticated filtering options, users can now easily search based on criteria such as location, price range, facilities, and the Good Spa Guide’s unique Bubble Rating System. This ensures that users can quickly find a spa experience tailored to their specific needs.
