Our approach to web design, web development and CRO | Strafe Creative

Different by design

Our approach to projects is different by design

We're focused on creating highly successful projects for our clients, and this is fundamentally down to the detailed and methodical approach we take to design. We don't want anything rushed or half finished, our aim is to create something to fit your exact need, every time.

The Strafe way

Pioneering a new approach to projects, allowing us to integrate and deliver as an in-house agency for our clients.

From concept to launch

Our project lifecycle method

01
Research & Exploration

We'd like to get to know you better! We’ll work closely with you to establish your goals to ensure that the end result embodies your project purpose. We'll gather your technical specification, find out what kind of design styles you like and create your project timeline so you have complete transparency throughout your project.

02
UX & Wireframing

We’ll start to map out all of the userflow; a visual representation of all possible routes a user could take to navigate your site. This ensures a seamless user experience and allows us to plan for all eventualities. High fidelity wireframes are then created by our expert design team to fully plan the hierarchy of each page, as well as the overall site structure, layout and interactions.

UI & Motion Design

Here’s where the real fun begins! We’ll present multiple concepts for you to select a style and refine the ideas during an iterations process. The motion and animations will be designed, bringing the site to life! Presented in our prototyping software, you can click around and navigate our designs without the need for build, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the design.

04
Content Creation

Whether working with our copywriters, photographers and videographers or creating the content yourself, we’ll work together to gather the text, imagery and videos to fill in the gaps. It can be hard to know where to start - fear not! Our content gathering tool breaks this down into bite-size pieces, giving you the freedom to focus on what you want to say!

05
Development

The project is handed over to our experienced development team who turn the concepts into a living, breathing site! There are many technical elements involved during this phase but don’t worry - we won’t bombard you with jargon! Typically the longest phase of the project, your dedicated Project Manager will be in touch with you throughout so you always know how things are going.

06
Content Population

With the website built and the finalised content confirmed, the site can be fully populated. As part of this stage, we’ll also work to optimise the site, ensuring that once launched, your site will be super speedy!

Refinement, Iteration & QA

This is the home straight! Just some final polishing to make sure that all is in order before the world gets to see your new site. Our meticulous QA process includes full browser testing across multiple devices to check that the site looks perfect, wherever it’s viewed. We’re sticklers for detail and make sure nothing slips through the net!

08
Launch

We’ll work closely with you in the week before launch to get everything in place. Once all is in perfect shape and you give us the final go-ahead, we’ll make your new website live! It’s time to celebrate - this is the day you’ve been waiting for!

Forward thinking Project Model

From brand conception and application through to digital products, we tackle all of our projects in the same strategic approach.

Flat fee billing

As long as the brief doesn't change we believe in sticking to the agreed fee. So no hidden extras to worry about.

Full transparency

At the start of every single project you get a gantt chart, listing every item we're going to do and when it's going to be completed. If there is any change we inform you the same day.

Nice people

Seems like a simple one, but having a friendly and fun relationship with our clients ensures we can work together to create something amazing.

Partner Agreements

We can do the normal "You pay us for a service" or if you'd like us more involved in your business, we can offer investment options if the project is right for everyone involved.

Your success is our success

Our company aim is: "Client success through great design and development." Every day our aim is to increase leads and sales for our clients.

We're a team of makers, thinkers, explorers and theatre singers. We approach work and play with curiosity and experimentation, using what we learn to create meaningful digital products that connect with people, just like you. We are also keen on doing our bit as a local business, we promote eco-friendly behaviours throughout our work, take every opportunity to get involved with great local charities and work really hard to maintain local partnerships that can help our community thrive.
